Battery Cable Cutter
EPE Cable Haul has two battery hydraulic cutters available for hire an IZUMI S7G-S40M and the OPT EC-85.
The IZUMI S7G-S40M battery hydraulic cutter can be used to cut a variety of sizes (up to 40mm) and types of material. Types of material include copper, Aluminium, ACSR, Guy Wire, Re-bar and Wire Rope. It is styled like a pistol which lends to it being lightweight, well balanced and suited to many applications.
Its trigger switch and return button are activated using only one hand, leaving the other hand free to secure working material. Its battery level is shown on the Makita battery itself.
OPT EC-85 is not designed to be used on armoured cable.
Both of the cable cutting tools work best when partnered with a Battery Pump.
